Rebecca believes in the power of art and artists to inspire individuals and communities to reflect on creativity and the world through one’s own lived experiences. For over twenty years Rebecca has worked with artists including Anila Quayyum Agha, Laurel Nakadate, James Prosek, and Chris “DAZE” Ellis. Sharing artists’ work with diverse audiences in museums, schools, community centers, and online, Rebecca creates opportunities for listening, asking questions, and digging deeper to foster empathy and discovery of how art can connect us to ourselves and to one another.
Rebecca was formerly the Curator of Education at has the Addison Gallery of American Art. She also was previously with the Peabody Essex Museum, the Williams College Museum of Art, the American Folk Art Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art. She has presented nationally and internationally about art and visual literacy.
