“Bio Morphe” Explores the Connection of Humanity & Science at the Moody Center for the Arts, Houston

"The nature of the Moody Center for the Arts’ fall exhibition lies in its title. Bio Morphe, which features works from seven international artists, focuses on the evolving relationship between the human body and the natural world. For curator Frauke V. Josenhans, the exhibition was a chance to revisit biomorphism’s roots and contemporary future. “So many artists have engaged with these forms and patterns you can find in nature,” she says, “but today there is a huge draw to work with materials from everyday life, and even incorporate findings from scientists and engineers...”
