In conversation with The Embrace, a new monument on the Boston Common by Hank Willis Thomas, this exhibition commemorates the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr., and meditates on his concept of agape -- the highest form of love that can only be known when we allow ourselves to let go of fear and anger, and recognize our innate interconnectedness.
For Freedoms is an artist collective that centers art and creativity as a catalyst for transformative connection and collective liberation. By wielding the power of art, we aim to deepen and expand our capacity to interrogate what is and imagine what could be. Together, we seek infinite expansion.
