2021 MENTORSHIP PROGRAM 

The inaugural Praise Shadows Mentorship Program took place in 2021 with two local high school mentees, Sahara Curry and Liana Rice, and one curatorial advisor, the Boston-based public art curator Leah Triplett Harrington. Under the guidance of Triplett Harrington and the gallery’s staff, the mentees developed an exhibition thesis, conducted studio visits, selected the artists, and finalized checklists to create a group show. The program culminated in a group exhibition organized by the high school mentees, titled Alchemized Dimensions.

    Leah Triplett Harrington a curator, writer, and editor. She has organized projects for Boston University Art Galleries, Abigail Ogilvy Gallery,Trestle Gallery, Herter Gallery, and others, and her writing has appeared in numerous publications. In 2021, she was the inaugural curatorial mentor for Praise Shadows Art Gallery and taught in the MFA program in Painting at Boston University.
